

S.K. Dayne was born in Los Angeles. At the age of twelve he got a culture shock when his parents decided, without his permission, to uproot him and his younger brother and they moved the family to Canby Oregon, a place you probably couldn’t find on the map back then.
Once in Oregon, S.K. discovered that he had a gift of doing voices and imitating different celebrities. His younger brother became his biggest fan as he sat through hours of S.K. entertaining him.
During high school, S.K. took the aptitude test and the results read that he would have a successful career in the arts. O n the day that he graduated high school he headed back to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
Needing to hone his craft, S.K. joined Professional Artist Group in Hollywood and took several acting classes. Wanting to learn more about on the set operations he joined an extras casting agency. After working on numerous shows, he took a job offer to work as a bodyguard/chauffeur for a well known actress for three years.
Deciding that he needed to learn more about the business side of entertainment, S.K. accepted a job at 20th Century Fox. While working in several departments at Fox, including Accounts Payable, Home Video and Marketing Advertising, S.K. wrote and directed several one act plays.
After meeting and working with Almayvonne Dixon at Fox, he went on to produce the stage play version of “5 Deep in a BMW”, along with Karti Productions. He also starred with Almayvonne in “All about Evette.” A pilot they produced together.
Realizing that they worked well with each other they wrote several scripts together including, “On the Line” and “Holding onto Virginia.” Going a step further they formed CrownSoul Entertainment and later Stone/Archer Entertainment. They wrote and sold the Screenplay, “Sister of the Bride.” They made their directorial debut with “3 The Hard Way”, a short film that they wrote, produced and financed. “3 The Hard Way” was a finalist in the Boston International Film Festival and the Hollywood Black Film Festival in June 2006. In 2008 S.K. worked on a film as first assistant director starring Tom Sizemore called "Double Duty" he also played the role of "guy" in "Double Duty". S.K. and Almayvonne Executive Produced and Produced the short film “The Trainer”, which was directed by Deanna Esmaeel and was a finalist in the Lake Arrowhead Film Festival in 2010. S.K. and Almayvonne Produced the short film entitled "It's Just Thanksgiving Dinner" in 2011. S.K. Went on to Direct and Produce a short film called "On This Night" in 2013. They are currently in pre-production with their new project, “Rashetta’s wedding”, a comedy. They have several films in development including, “Being Venus”, a comedy, the full length feature of “3 The Hard Way”, and the theatrical versions of“5 Deep in a BMW”, and "On This Night" TV Series.

Almayvonne is an independent producer, writer and director with a keen eye for discovering fresh, new talent and developing high quality, thought provoking stories for the big screen.
Almayvonne was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts and always knew entertainment was a part of her destiny. Achieving success in track and field and basketball at Boston English High School, Almayvonne was heavily recruited for basketball and went on to attend Southern Connecticut State University, where she help lead her team to the NCAA Final Four her Junior year. Almayvonne graduated with a major in Business Economics/Accounting and a minor in Theatre Arts.
After graduating, Almayvonne appeared in local Boston theatres in, “I Read about My Death in Vogue Magazine” and “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide, When the Rainbow is Enuf.”
Moving to Los Angeles, she appeared in a number of productions, including the promotional film “Ninja Nuns” and the plays, “Glasshouse” and “Long Time Since Yesterday” Her television credits include the TV pilot “Hammer, Slammer & Slade”, “In Living Color”, “The Jamie Fox Show”, “ER”, “Touched by an Angel”, “Where I Live”, where she was a series regular and “All of Us.”
Portraying the role of Charlotte in the feature film, “Mo’ Money”, was what put her on the map. She went on to starred in several other features, including, “The Other Sister” and the HBO film, “Stranger Inside”
Being a 6’1” character actress, Almayvonne decided that waiting for the phone to ring was too much of a long drawn out process. So she began writing. With a group of her fellow female actors she founded Karti Productions. Karti wrote and sold their first script, “5 Deep in a BMW.” Going solo she wrote produced and performed, “All about Evette”, a television pilot for the HBO workspace.
Almayvonne met S.K. Dayne in the Accounting Department at 20th Century Fox and they immediately found that they had a lot in common. They wrote several films together, including, “On the Line” and “Holding onto Virginia”. Putting their names together, Crown/Steve, Soul/Alma, they form CrownSoul Entertainment. They wrote and sold the short, “Sister of the Bride.” They made their directorial debut with “3 The Hard Way”, a short film that they wrote, produced and financed. “3 The Hard Way” was a finalist in the Boston International Film Festival and the Hollywood Black Film Festival in June 2006. They were Executive Producer’s on the short film “The Trainer”, which was directed by Deanna Esmaeel and was a finalist in the Lake Arrowhead Film Festival in 2010. They are currently in pre-production with their new project, “Rashetta’s wedding”, a comedy... They have several films in development including, “Being Venus”, a comedy, the full length feature of “3 The Hard Way.”, 5 Deep in a BMW, a murder mystery and the theatrical version of “All About Evette!”
